Before you are approved for the Down Payment Assistance Program you will have to attend a mandatory 8 hour HUD certified home ownership counseling with a HUD Approved Counseling Service.

A copy of your certification must be submitted to the Hernando County Health and Human Services Department, 20 N. Main Street, Rm. 161, Brooksville, FL 34601.
